{"id":2943,"date":"2013-07-15T08:32:06","date_gmt":"2013-07-15T08:32:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jellywp.com\/theme\/entron\/demo5\/?p=2943"},"modified":"2013-07-15T08:32:06","modified_gmt":"2013-07-15T08:32:06","slug":"using-dataview-webpart-with-sharepoint-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/teamwp.mydevfactory.com\/abhisek-saha\/aqltech\/using-dataview-webpart-with-sharepoint-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Using Dataview Webpart with SharePoint 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Using Dataview Webpart web partrePoint 2013<\/strong><br \/>\nLet\u2019s go ahead and use a DataView webpart and discuss some of the basic options that it provides.<\/p>\n<p>Open SharePoint Designer 2013, connect to your site and create a new non-webpart page by clicking on New ASPX page in the folder in which you want to create the page.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/teamwp.mydevfactory.com\/abhisek-saha\/aqltech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"362\" height=\"392\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3535\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Open the page in Advanced Mode by rt. clicking on it<\/p>\n<p>Save the page, this is a good practice if not a lot of ribbon buttons are disabled. Keep doing this with any mods to the pages. Dataview webpart needs a webpart zone to render, drop a Webpart zone on it in between the form tags<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/teamwp.mydevfactory.com\/abhisek-saha\/aqltech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"439\" height=\"469\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3536\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After saving the page, go to the webpart zone tag and WebPartPages: WebPartZone and add DataViewWebpart<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/teamwp.mydevfactory.com\/abhisek-saha\/aqltech\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"385\" height=\"588\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3537\" \/><br \/>\nVola! This has added the dataview webpart to the page, which is basically a lot of XSLT which we will go over very soon.
