Croatian World Cupper Igor Stimac Appointed As The New Indian Football Team Head Coach
The AIFF’s executive committee appointed Igor Stimac as the head coach of the Indian National Team, for a two-year term.
Igor who was part of Crotia in the 1998 World Cup, has 18 years of experience in coaching and developing a football team internationally and back home as well. One of his major achievements was to guide Croatia to qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
As it seems, Stimac’s first challenge would be the Kings Cup in Thailand where India are set to lock horns against Curacao in the first match to be held on 5th June.
