Minerva Punjab faced bottom-placed Shillong Lajong at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium. After a barren first-half, the visitors scored one through Naorem Mahesh Singh (84′) at the dying embers of the match. This goal turned out to be the winner. The final score remained 1-0.

Churchill Brothers vs Indian Arrows

Churchill Brothers were up against Indian Arrows at the Tilak Maidan. The home side were victorious with a scoreline of 2-1. A quick brace from their Churchill’s in-form striker Willis Plaza (22′, 45′) was enough to seal the win after Arrows’ Deepak Tangri (38′) had equalized.

The epic Kolkata derby took place at the Yuba Bharati Stadium in which Mohun Bagan hosted East Bengal. This was the first one for Bagan’s Head Coach Khalid Jamil, who was East Bengal’s manager just a while ago. The entire match was dominated by East Bengal and they achieved a comfortable 2-0 victory over their rivals. This was the first double for Bengal over their rivals in 15 years. Jaime Santos (35′) and star of the match Jobby Justin (75′) scored the goals forfor Alejan Menendez’s team.

Real Kashmir vs Chennai City

Title challengers Real Kashmir hosted table toppers Chennai City at the TRC Polo Synthetic Turf Ground. The home side managed to edge past Chennai with a solitary goal that came from Gnohere Krizo (82′) right at the finish stage of the match. After the final whistle was blown, the final score remained 1-0.
