Mumbai City FC vs NorthEast United FC

NorthEast United FC took on Mumbai City in a vital away match, and came out with flying colours. NEUFC took an early lead, as Rowlin Borges scored from the edge of the box, in the fourth minute, after a cutback by Keegan Perreira from the left. It was Ogbeche who doubled NorthEast’s lead when he slotted a Reagan Singh cross into the goal, in the 33rd minute of the match. Mumbai City made quite a few subs, in their bid to come back into the match, but to no avail.

FC Goa vs ATK

FC Goa met ATK, in what was a crucial match, especially for ATK. However, they just weren’t able to get into the game, as the Goan side completely decimated them. Jackichand Singh scored the first in the first minute of the game, from a cross by Corominas. Fifty minutes later, Corominas scored Goa’s second, from a rebound off ATK goalie. Coro scored another, from the penalty spot, after he was taken down inside the box, capping off a highly impressive display by FC Goa.

Kerala Blasters vs Chennaiyin FC

Kerala Blasters defeated Chennaiyin FC 3-0, in a match which, in statistical perspective, was pretty evenly poised. Matej Poplantik scored a brace, the first in the 23rd minute and the second in the 55th minute. Sahal Abdul Samad scored Kerala’s third in the 71st minute. The first and the third goals came from goalkeeping and defensive errors, respectively.

Jamshedpur FC vs Pune City FC

Jamshedpur FC went down 1-4 to Pune City FC, in what was their first home loss of the season. Robin Singh scored a brace, the first in 17th minute and the second in the 65th minute. Marcelinho scored at the fag end of first half, which was Pune’s second goal of the match, beating Subrata Pal in a 1v1. In the 70th minute, Aashique Karunyan scored the fourth for Pune, after Marcelinho did amazingly well to lay it off for him. Carlos Calvo scored from the penalty spot, in the 76th minute, but it was too late for Chennaiyin to make any significant impact to the result.

Delhi Dynamos vs Bengaluru FC

Delhi and Bengaluru participated in a close-fought encounter, a roller coaster ride, where the home team eventually came out to be winners. Delhi had scored the first in the ninth minute when Ulises Davila slotted the ball into the net from close range. In the 19th minute, Xisco’s cross was intelligently directed by Dorronsoro towards Haokip who made no mistake in scoring the equaliser. It was Bengaluru who took the lead next, when substitute Chhetri came in and scored in the 72nd minute. Delhi showed steely nerves to not only come back into the game but score the winner, courtesy Daniel Lalhlimpuia, who scored in the 77th minute and the 81st minute.
